In times of adversity

Support for past students and their families

Those in need in our extended Geelong Grammar School community where adversity, grief and loss have impacted the lives of past students and their families, can seek support from Healing and Hope. Pastoral care and practical support is offered to those who may need help.

Healing and Hope also offers past students, families and staff the opportunity to volunteer their skills and/or time to assist in helping fellow Geelong Grammar School community members.

The purpose and ethos of Healing and Hope is to endeavor to provide support to any former student and their family who may be experiencing difficult and challenging circumstances. In times of tragedy and adversity, Healing and Hope can be contacted to offer immediate and on-going help and support. Grief and loss are emotions that can also continue well past the event, Healing and Hope is still here to help

Healing and Hope assists with immediate practical support such as the provision of meals and comfort packs and also offers assistance connecting with medical care, grief and trauma counselling, and will include opportunities to participate in therapeutic activities that may be organised by Healing and Hope from time to time.

If you or your family are in a difficult situation or experiencing tragedy and loss, or you are aware of someone in need and think that extra support from Healing and Hope may help, please reach out to our Relationship Manager, Kate Parsons. She can be contacted by phone (call or text) 0459 439 291 or email kate.parsons@healingandhope.org.au
